Do you successfully market yourself? Do you achieve the results that you want from your marketing? There are many things that you can be doing to increase your visibility in the marketplace. Life is just like the internet the more people you have recommending and referring your name, the more potential customers, clients, partners, referrers you will have. It almost seems like common sense that the more people that "link" to you the better. This is way people hand out business cards, it instantly opens an opportunity that somebody will contact you. I am going to write about 3 possible ways to improve you promoting yourself. This can mean something different for each persons situation, but the strategies are the same whether you are selling something, starting a company, or trying to find work.

Struggling With Your Network?

In my experience, when people are first introduced to the concept of network marketing - they are blown away! You can actually see a sparkle in a young person's eyes as they listen to the details and the benefits of the program they are being pitched on. More than that, you can see eyes that were long ago dimmed by the daily grind of the forty hour work week - glisten like they just found the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. It is in those moments, that an individual has learned that they can start to dream again. Visions of mansions and expensive cars are dancing through their minds, as they are given that elusive opportunity to become a successful business owner.

We all know what happens next. The excited individual can't wait to share what he or she has discovered, and rushes off to tell their spouse, friend, parent, etc. about this incredible, can't miss opportunity. All it usually takes is a one sentence response from any of the above mentioned people - and it's all over. "Don't you know that all of those things are pyramid schemes"?

The house, the cars, the tropical vacations....all come crashing down. "What do you mean? There are a lot of people making a lot of money doing this". The usual response is, "Well let me know when YOU are making money"!

And yet another entrepreneurial spirit is crushed.

What can be done to stop this? This is a great question that most of us would like answered for ourselves, but equally so for our downline and any new prospect. The answers lie in Internet marketing. We know that there are thousands of people that are searching the web for home-based businesses and how they can build a significant income from home. Why try to convince a friend who has no desire to get ahead in life to be a business owner? Wouldn't you rather work with hungry entrepreneurs that are searching for a business just like yours that they can sink their teeth into? It's a no-brainer.
